Happy Birthday!

My beautiful daughter Ashlynn has turned 8! She felt shafted because the stockshow that Cody showed at was on her birthday. I tried to make her birthday extra special by having a surprise slumber party the night before with her friends from school. Then a few days later, we celebrated again at Chuckee Cheeses with her friends from church.

Ashlynn is so beautiful and smart! I am a proud mama!! She attended UIL in Balmorhea and received a medal for 3rd place. She is the only elementary student who received a medal from Dell City. She is in second grade and is reading on a 4th grade level. She came home today with a Goosebumps chapter book and has her nose in it right now.

The most exciting thing about turning 8 is that now she can be baptized which will take place on Saturday. She is looking forward to it so much. We have family coming in from Arizona which is even more fun!
