Even though Halloween is always so exhausting it was still such a blast! I spend a lot of time on Thursday finishing putting together costumes, baking and decorating cupcakes and cookies, making chip dips and preparing everything for Friday. I got up 1/2 hour early on Halloween morning to make them a "scrumptious" breakfast. I got this awesome idea from my good friend Abby. Can you guess what it is? Let me tell you.... It is bat brains, bat wings, bat dung on the bread and bat urine!!! YUCK! I am usually not gross but I knew that my kids would think that this was totally awesome.

We hurried to take some quick pictures before it was out the door to school.

At school the kids got to play all kinds of carnival games and ate all kinds of yummy food. I brought in the ingreds to make homemade rootbeer. The kids all loved it. Everyone (k-5) just had to take a turn stirring the witches brew!

When school was out we went to El Paso to the trunk or treat at church. HOLY MOLY WAS IT PACKED!! The kids had such a good time. They got to go through their first haunted house and they all absolutely loved it. Ashlynn talked my ear off the WHOLE way home telling me about each step she took and each character who screamed at her. Yes really.... the WHOLE way home!!!
