Fair Days are Here again!

Out here it is the tradition to have the school Homecoming and the County Fair the same week. Each year, at least one of my kids have been asked to escort the homecoming court out onto the football field during half time. Kirsten and Luis escorted this years homecoming queen and Cody and Sarah escorted last years king and queen. Don't they look so beautiful and so handsome!

Friday night after the football game, the fair is kicked off by a street dance. We are party poopers and have never gone. Then Saturday they have a parade and then a BBQ and fun things for the kids along with the exhibits to see. This year there were several fun activities for the kids. One was a bungee jumping and boy did they have a blast!! They have two hydrolic poles on either side of them and a trampoline under them. The operators move the poles up so the kids are up off of the trampoline quite a ways. Then they basically spring them into the air and the kids would spring about 20feet up from the trampoline. Kinda scarey for me! They begged us to go back up later that evening to go bungeeing (is that a word?) again. So much fun! Cody was being brave and doing flips. Shaleea didn't go very high but the little bit that she did, she didn't like it very much!

This just speaks for itself......

PRICELESS!!!

Sweet...what fun for you and your kids. That dress turned out really well for your little one!

Hey...what's your e-mail address? I just saw your mom on Sunday night and (of course) she didn't say anything about her health. She did show me pictures of Tanner though! Too cute!

Your kids are so cute! It looks like they had a lot of fun. I miss living in a small town. You just don't get to do things like that in the big city...sigh!
