Rain, Rain, Go Away! NOT!

Today we got a really nice rain and hail storm! It dumped almost 1 inch in less than 20 minutes. The thunder cracked so loud our window shook and electricity went off at the same time over and over.
Even I was scared. Wes, Cody and Papa were out in Wes' field trying to get the hay loaded up before it hit. They didn't make it and when they got home, they were literally dripping wet!!



We decided to go on a family 4-wheeler ride to check everything out when it was over. The wash right behind our house was running pretty fast and on the side of our house we had a lake.

The whole gang piled on the 4-wheeler!

Next to our house we had two ponds. Wes is showing here that the water would be over his knees if he took one more step.

The 4-wheeler ride was just too much for this little one. She gave it up and had a good nap leaning up against daddys back.
